for those who have purchased illegal, bootleg copies of The Wandering Moon Tarot from online sellers who have stolen my hand drawn artwork. 

the guidebook/booklet for The Wandering Moon Tarot is written by myself and the amazing Marion Kirk. these guidebooks are 192 pages in length and contain the tarot card meaning, upright meaning, reversed meaning, plus a description of the cards artwork. the guidebook is incredibly well made, featuring cute lil stars in holographic rainbow foiling on the cover.

🌟 because you’ve purchased an illegal, bootleg copy of my work. if you’ve purchased a copy of The Wandering Moon Tarot from temu, Amazon, etc, it’s a stolen version of my work. while this hurts and angers me to no end, i can’t stop it. even with a trademark i can’t stop them. in places like China where most bootleg decks are copied and printed, they are unable to be reached or reprimanded due to China’s closed internet . all i can do is try to encourage people to shop around before buying a deck for $5 when ordinarily it’s seen for $65.

😢😢😢 a sad, but important note: due to illegal bootleg copies of The Wandering Moon Tarot being sold online and my inability as a small business to compete with those purchasing said illegal copies, this deck is now retired. This means that it will not be printed again. All decks of The Wandering Moon Tarot purchased from August ‘23 onwards are from the last print run. if the deck you received is in a thin, cardboard tuck box, has no hold-rainbow foiling on the card edges and card backs, has a QR code printed on it, or did not come with a proper booklet (which also has holo-rainbow foiling on the cover), it’s an illegal copy. 

i understand that many people have not realised they’ve purchased inferior, bootleg copies. some folks have even received these as gifts. however, i promise you that the sellers you’ve purchased them from know full well what they are selling to you. they are happily stealing, printing, and distributing the hard work of others. due to the sheer volume of illegal decks seen online, it actually seems normal and perfectly acceptable. 

please know that if you have purchased a bootleg copy, you can contact the seller where you got it from and request a refund. if they chose not to assist you, you can contact the platform and report them, plus the item. they are advertising my work and it only an inferior, incredibly cheaply made copy. tell them it does not meet expectations. 

i deserve better, you deserve better. 

all i ask is that if you see a tarot or oracle deck and you want to purchase a copy, do a quick google search and see if you can find the deck makers own store or social media pages. from there, at least you’re making a more informed choice on what you’re really purchasing and where your money is going.
