🌸some backstory: I have fibromyalgia, an invisible illness that causes pain, tiredness, and changes to my cognition. I have been living in pain and discomfort every day for a very long time. at times it can feel like your life is out of control, like your body has betrayed you. by journaling and tracking my pain daily I was able to take control of things. I now understand what makes my pain worse, what makes it better, what causes my pain to flare, and what I would neglect which would lead to pain.

once you’ve been tracking your pain (and subsequent symptoms and surrounding issues) you can find trends and cycles which you can then interrupt to stop your pain from increasing.
