I have fibro and deal with its many symptoms each and every day. While we know there isn’t a cure for fibro (yet🀞🏻), there are known ways to help. One of them is tracking your daily symptoms and using it to refer back to when trying to work out the reasons why one might enter a flare up. Pages like this also help us to have a degree of control over ourselves and our lives.

✨This is the journal page I originally made for myself and is the final product after many changes to get it just right. it helped me identify that:
- the fructose from fruit causes me to flare up
- 6 hours of sleep is too little, 9 hours is too much
- preservatives in food are my nemesis
- dairy foods are not worth the few minutes of yumminess
- the days i would wash, dry, and straighten my hair were days that left my sore and tired. i now visit the hairdressers each week.
- the humid weather made my joints ache more than the cold weather did.

the details listed above are just a handful of the many, many things tracked & noticed. I’m sure that to those living without fibro, this appears to be a list of no real significance. however, to me they were a revelation.

being able to identify, pinpoint, and eliminate some of the things that made my life miserable made me feel empowered once again, like i was not just existing at the mercy of my physical body.
