Who I Am

I’m Rachael Jean — the artist, writer, and slow-living soul behind MoonHaus Studio, a space built on intuition, alignment, and design that feels like an exhale.

I live by the beach in Victoria, Australia, with my cavoodle, Lumi, and I create work for women who are tired of noise, pressure, and spiritual spaces that demand more than they give.

Long before MoonHaus Studio existed, I was a Division 1 registered nurse, graduating with honours from RMIT University. My adult life has been shaped by understanding the human body and spirit — how we heal, fracture, adapt, and begin again. That understanding now lives quietly inside everything I make.

Living with fibromyalgia and developing CIDP in recent years has deepened that awareness. My energy shifts day to day, hour to hour — and creativity has become not just expression, but steadiness.

No matter my health, I create. Some days with a walker, some days from a chair. Always with intention.

MoonHaus Studio reflects that reality. It honours rest, reflection, and tools that witness your energy rather than demand it.

What I Create (And Why)

I create hand-drawn tarot and oracle decks, alongside spiritual journals, printable pages, and digital tools designed to invite stillness, self-trust, and quiet clarity.

I’ve been reading tarot for years — long before it became aesthetic or algorithm-friendly. My first deck, The Wandering Moon Tarot, was a $50,000 Kickstarter success in 2021, with every card drawn by hand, pen on paper.

It was followed by The Wandering Soul Oracle, the bestselling Midnight Sky Tarot, a Major Arcana edition, a mini pocket deck, and a printable digital deck for those who carry their practice with them.

These decks didn’t just mark milestones — they became part of my own healing. Sometimes we create to heal. Other times, we heal so we can create.

Every piece I offer carries the same energy: minimalist, celestial, quietly powerful.

At the time of writing, MoonHaus Studio has reached over 40,000 sales, placing it in the top 0.2% of Etsy sellers. But more than numbers, that reflects something far quieter — women across the world finding resonance in work made slowly, by hand.
